Hi

Our laptop has decided to lose a lot of our information on switching on today.

Has anyone had this issue (or similar) and used somewhere they can recommend to recover/repair this.

We live Orihuela Costa but have transport if further afield.

Many thanks in anticipation of assistance.

Regards

Sharon n Mike

First, try to restart your computer again and see if that helps. If not, try using "Windows System Restore" from the control panel. This basically takes you back in time. Choose a date where you know your computer was working. Just note that anything after this date will be lost, and anything you have deleted should be restored again. Use your power adaptor so you have enough power to complete the job.

"A lot of our information" is a bit vague. Was it lost folders? Icons on the home screen? Documents? Difficult to help without knowing the exact problem.

Thanks though he seems to have sorted it out so We no longer need a repair company.

Cheers

Thanks for your response and sorry, I was repeating what my hubby had said and he was looking for a recommendation of a repair shop that people had used/trusted.

He seems to have sorted it himself now 😊
