We are applying for residencia and I'm having a real nightmare with the padron which should be so easy. We were on the padron in Rojales then moved to Orihuela but I didn't realise I had to take myself off the padron then re-register here. Its 3 months to get an appointment here so booked in August and went on 5th November only to be told we couldn't register as we were on the padron in Rojales.  Now if we go and de-register in Rojales we have then got to wait until March for an appointment to get on the padron here which will be too late to get residencia, also I've heard for anything legal padron has to be less than 3 months old so where do I go from here. Its the only place I know where its a 3 month wait to get on the padron, I think its because of the large amount of people here but it doesn't help me and I really don't know how I can get around this

Hi Tricia,

We are Expat Services sponsors of this site, if you get a digital certificate you can do all the paperwork online rather than face to face. Remember that if you make your application after the 31st of December you will have to prove that you were here before that date, it will be a bit harder but that´s it.

Hello,

If you have a letter from the foreign office requiring the Padron (we can explain how to get this), the Orihuela Town Hall must give you an urgent appointment.

Please let me know if you need more help.
