Hello, I haven't heard anything about that particular area this time but it always depends where the most rain falls. The baked earth doesn't soak it up so the water finds the quickest route downhill, to the sea or lakes, which usually means the roads turn into rivers. Much of the coastal strip of the whole Costa Blanca is prone to flash flooding as we receive our annual rainfall in a handful of days! It doesn't last long but it will depend on the lay of the land where your property is as to whether it will be at risk and no, your Estate Agent is not going to risk a sale by telling you this, it's not their job.
