Gay5, I would suggest that you keep an eye on the N332 page for up to date information.    It is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people and normally deals with anything to do with driving in Spain.   However, in these troubled times, they have diversified and now also advise on the rules and regulations in respect of the current crisis.

Does anyone know about the "ruling" where you can only shop at your closest shop? Or is this just another case of scaremongering? 

I have heard so many people saying "if you don't go to the closest shop you'll get fined", is it just hearsay? Fred's cousins, wife's, Milkmans, postman got fined for it.
