Travel by road from France to Spain

Apologies if this has been asked before.

We are travelling to France on September 2 to visit our property there. if all is ok with the property we’re thinking of driving down to our other property in Spain for a few days

But I want to know what documentation is required to cross from France into Spain and return

We are both double jabbed and have completed the French health declarations. And will book day 2 tests for when we return

According to both Spanish Health and U.K. government web sites, no documentation is required for land entry into Spain although you may be asked for proof of vaccination, if border patrols are present.

Check you have all your French paperwork in order as in the past, they have been very strict with travel documentation

Not sure if you still have to complete a form to document what the purpose of your travel. This regulation may have been lifted now. It’s a nightmare trying to keep up to date with just the British and Spanish Rules.

Morning we travelled from Spain into France on 9 August we had taken the Antigen test the previous evening in Barcelona ,there was a police presence at the border at Le Perthus where we were asked to show our antigen test, not all cars were stopped we were in UK car
