I had a terrible experience using Amazon for a local delivery (from the US). I thought I would be smart and use Amazon Espanol, but the language barrier created chaos, and I was never able to communicate the problem. Have any of you used Amazon Espanol successfully? And how would I overcome the language barrier. I know the web site allows for translation, but I could never get to the proper page to describe the delivery problem. And when I actually called the delivery service, I couldn't find anyone with enough English skills to help.

There is an option on the contact page to have them call you....and ànother option before that for English speaking.

I had an order that didn't although tracking said it did .

I used this service, call back was immediate and refund arranged.

Hello teebark

Ive used Amazon.es continually now since last year, they have been brilliant...Speedy deliveries in 1 - 2 days, no extra charges and cheery delivery guys ( quite a change from SEUR who used to deliver for Amazon.co.uk.

If you install Google Chrome as your browser, it automatically translates everything from  spanish to english  so shopping is a breeze.

Give it a go....I hope it works for you too.

Cheers

I see that now. I'll use that feature next time-thanks for the help.

I use Amazon for lots of things. Recently had to request a refund for an item that had got lost. Once you get to the contact us page, there is a box to tick to get your response in English. I had a reply within the hour and a refund straight away.

As stated if you use Chrome as your browser you can get Google translate to change the language.

Or if you are using Safari on an iPad or iPhone, just click on AA in the address bar and that will translate

I’ve even used Amazon.com .co.uk  .de  and .it  for deliveries here without problem.
