DIentist - can anyone recommend a dentist in Pego who actually gives a real examination.

Hi, I have health cover which includes dental, but the recommended dentist I visited seemed to be only interested in doing aesthetic work. I'm looking for a dentist who believes in "prevention is better than cure", i.e. a dentist who performs an in depth initial examination. Can anyone help please.

Hi there, I appreciate you may well have found a dentist since you posted your question. I rarely check the Forum these days.

We were covered by Sanitas for our first year and our dentist was in Denia. Once we ended that cover because we had obtained our SIP health cards, we changed to Dr Alberto Alemany in Pego. However, it seems everyone pays for dental treatment as it isn't covered under the Spanish health service. Address : Av. Valencia, 2, 03780 Pego, Alicante.
