I'm sure this topic has appeared many times on the Forum, but my searches have failed to turn up anything useful and, surprisingly, it doesn't appear to have been covered in depth in Jim's Guides. So, advice please.
My neighbour and friend is a 72 year old English lady who moved permanently to Spain (Adsubia, near Pego) last December. We managed to secure her residencia just before lockdown kicked in, but we so far haven't managed to get her registered with the health system, despite her being entitled as a UK citizen receiving the UK state pension. I believe she has the S1 paperwork, so what I'm asking is, how do we go about it (in detail)? What form is required, where do we get it, what do we do then, etc?
We've tried making an appointment online with the nearest social security office (Denia) but this has so far proved impossible. We're thinking of going to the office tomorrow to see if we can get in, or at least make an appointment. Has anyone tried lately to do the same thing in Denia? All info gratefully received.
