Hey Maureen, Please remember that by using this route to Spain that you are !. Importing your dog into France from  the UK  and then 2. Importing your dog into Spain from France. You are not importing your dog direct from the UK into Spain ... Don`t worry, I did this years ago when bringing my six poodles with me by car from the UK to Spain with no problems.   Good luck, Alexander.

Hi

I travelled from London to Valencia by train twice around 20 years ago.

On the first trip, we took Eurostar to Paris and then the sleeper train to Barcelona where we stayed overnight and then onwards to Valencia. It was all fine - except that the Eurostar broke down so we got to the sleeper with just a few seconds to spare - literally! The guard closed the door behind us and the train immediately started moving!

On the second trip, we took Eurostar again and then a train to Montpellier where we stayed for a couple of days, then onwards to Valencia.

We booked first class both times, which wasn't at all expensive. I was careful to book the tickets just seconds after they became available online, in order to get the cheapest ones!

That was 20 years ago. I've got a feeling that there is now a fast train direct from Paris to Barcelona.

I can't comment on your dog, I've no experience.

Cheers

Steve
