Paid my last water bill on the 17th october by direct debit.not had another bill yet.is it quarterly billing .

Don't know if your SUMA is the same as where I live, but they bill me twice a year and each bill contains two quarters of water charges, amongst other things like car tax, IBI, etc. So October sounds about right, expect the next bill around April.

It depends upon how your contract is set up. I pay my water bills to Hidraqua every quarter via direct debit. My bills via SUMA (the collection agency) are for the IBI and Basura (similar to rates and rubbish collection in the UK) and road tax for my car.

If your water supplier is Hidraqua, the bills are issued quarterly.

No, those twice yearly SUMA payments are for rubbish collection, not your water. SUMA only collects taxes, not bills, so you will get a quarterly bill for your water from your supplier.
Our rubbish collection tax is collected in one payment each year at the same time as the road tax.
