All - some of the golf resort properties for sale are gorgeous & seem to represent great value.

Other than higher service charges what would the ups or downs be?

I'm basically looking for someone to "market" a golf property to me (a non-golfer) - really considering it

Thanks in advance :)

One of the reasons why they are such 'good values' on certain golf courses is because there are so many for sale, often never having been sold to start with. This keeps down the value of the resales too. The more established courses where all the properties are already owned tend to be more expensive.

Most golf courses are also car reliant locations, so you always have the additional cost every visit.

It really comes down to what you want. Maybe a good idea to book a fortnight's holiday on a golf course you are considering to do a 'try before you buy' experience.

We live on a golf community and really like it. We don't play golf although I have in the past.

The course adds value in our opinion simply because it looks lovely and where we are blends almost seamlessly with the orange and lemon groves.

We are still less than 20 minutes by car to great beaches but have that country feel.

That said being a frontline villa will come at a premium over a third line apartment/ townhouse or bungalow.

Not all developments are unsold or unfinished but many will be very quiet out of season especially during this pandemic.

Go and have a look at some if you can.

I took these pics about 40 mins ago on our dog walk around the complex.

Yes - on the road separating the two parts of the course :)
