Hi.

Can anyone put me intouch with a cat rescue in Campoverde. My husband is keeping a garden tidy for a couple that have returned to the uk for a few months. The lady that lives there has been feeding a cat and asked my husband would he mind continuing she is a mother cat with three kittens. My husband did tell her she would have a colony there when she returns because the mother would become pregnant again. My husband has seen two tom cats on the sun terrace already sparing up to each other already. The kittens are quite big at the moment so they may end up pregnant if there are any females amongst them. Some advice on what to do will be helpfull.

Hi, APAH Rescue takes in and re-homes cats, the shelter is about 5 minutes drive from Campoverde but you would need to contact them first to talk through their circumstances.  Contact details are as follows:

Tel: 630 422 563

E-mail: apahrescue@hotmail.co.uk

I hope they can assist / advise.

It is very important to get the mother cat sterilized asap and also the kittens as soon as they are old enough.  Maybe APAH can provide a trap and help with costs, charities usually have an arrangement with a vet to provide sterilization at reduced costs.

There is also Little Pod Association in Playa Flamenca who might be able to help.
