Wanted: Logs for a log burner

Hi does anyone deliver logs for a log burner Campverde,any info and prices appreciated.

I'm a bit puzzled why you'd want logs at this time of year. All the log yards are rapidly filling up with freshly cut logs at the moment. As most of the log yards sell by weight, that means you're paying extra for the sap content, plus the logs won't burn until they've dried up.
The best time to buy is in the autumn, after the summer heat has dried them out. I usually stock up in September or October when the log yards are quiet and I can cherry-pick the best ones.
Price varies between 9 and 16 cents a kilo, depending on what sort you get.
