I know that there are more pressing concerns than tax returns but ............

Our tax advisers were in the middle of doing our Modelo 720 due at the end of the month ....... I cannot find anything on internet and although I am learning spanish at the moment I may have missed something due to my limited spanish. Am I right to assume that the Spanish Government have extended the deadline for returns due to the covid19 virus? ........anyone heard anything please?

No, the deadline for the 720 remains at 31st March.

There's no reason to extend it, as the 720 can only be submitted online, and information can be provided by email to whoever does it for you.

If you've got an electronic certificate and are doing it yourself, then you've still got several days to do it.

If need be, submit it as well as you can, then do a supplementary declaration later.
