I'm don't know how it got there but my bath has a small hole in it. The obvious solution is to replace the bath which I intend to do but not until the Autumn to coincide with some other work on the property. In the meantime this small hole - very small, about the size of a letter 'o' in this text - needs repairing. Could anybody recommend someone to carry out this repair. Thanks.

Sorry. I could not resist. My bath also has a hole! it´s where the plug goes.

On a serious note.......Is it a metal or glass-fibre bath?.

Ah, asked for that. It's not metal so I guess it's fibre glass or whatever substance they make them from nowadays. The bath came with the property when new which was in 2003 in New Campoverde.

Yes you did. In that case for a temporary repair, a suitable resign or fibre glass repair kit. Car accesory shop or fereteria could advise. .regards. Villas.

Screw in the bath. Never thought of that. Make sure the silicon is water-proof. V😏

Thanks for the reply. I did try getting some from Alpuente but the assistants just didn't seem to have much idea and after much discussion among themselves I bought what they suggested but it didn't last five minutes. That's why I'm seeking advice on this forum.

Thanks Pete for taking the time to reply and for the info. The bath is tiled in so can only tackle it from one side but I'll give it a go.

Hello

I had a hole in a bath and what I used a product from the hardware store: it is like playdo with 2 components, I mixed it until the color is unform and I put over the hole been sure that some went through the hole. It worked me for few months.

Regards

All the suggestions are good. The two part epoxy that ros4111 refers to is what I used to seal a hole in the skimmer bucket in my pool. Touch wood, but it's still sealing the hole after several years.
