My husband needs a hip replacement and was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to go about this. Also if anyone has had the operation, could you recommend any particular hospitals or surgeons.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Ray. I probably should have mentioned that he is not a resident and wants to pay to have it done privately. I will be living in spain from next week, it would be better for him to have the op done there as I will be able to look after him while he recuperates.
