Hello all, my family have recently purchased a property in Pinar de Campoverde. I am coming over week beginning 17th Feb for 5 days with two friends, we are female in our forties and I want to make the week fun and interesting for them. I don't know the area and places nearby so well myself but I want to take them to villamartin plaza one night and a few nice beaches and restaurants over the week. I saw a photo of a really nice plaza type place that isnt villamartin, I think it was called playa noche?? Where is that please? I am hiring a car. Are there any markets on that week? Thank you for reading this, any ideas will be gratefully received. Have a good day, Louise

Could it be Plaza Nueva you are thinking of in Torre de La Horadada - it opened last year and mainly consists of restaurants?
We always enjoy taking visitors to Lo Pagan where people go to cover themselves in mud from the bottom of the salt lakes as it is supposed to have healing properties! We’ve never put the mud on but it’s interesting watching others doing it. Plus it’s a nice place to walk and sit and have a coffee.

Thank you so much, yes I think that is the place. If I drive to Torre de la Horadada, will Plaza Nueva be easy to find? Will the restaurants be open this time of year do you know?
I read about Lo Pagan, that sounds like a nice day out too.
Thank you so much for replying.

Hi
Me and my friends visited a Moroccan garden/house last night. Was lovely, I would recommend going as the sun is setting, it’s about 30 mins ish from you. If you’ve got Instagram you could look at my page for details. Just_gran_alacant.

If you take the main route into Torre from the N332, the plaza is on the right hand side, before you get to the church and the square.
For Lo Pagan, if you turn right onto the N332 from Pilar de La Horadada and turn left at the island where the huge Spanish flag is flying and where Lidl is, follow that road as far as you can to the sea, find somewhere to park and walk along the spit where the windmill is, that is where people put the mud on. It’s a great walk or cycle ride along the spit.

you will not struggle for places to eat and drink.
The bars in pinar have plenty of entertainment on all year round.
Cartagena is worth a day out, being full of museums, shops and places to eat and is about a 3/4 of an hour away.
La zenia boulevard and dosmares shopping centers are both close.
pilar d la horadada has plenty to see and do.
beaches everywhere.
