Unless you've got a car which is special to you, then I don't personally think it's worthwhile swapping a UK car to Spanish plates. Apart from the fact that its resale value will be minimal, you've no chance of seeing if you can overtake safely, and if you're on your own then you've got a major problem at car park barriers etc.
