Hi,

We got PCR tests at Vitalicum Los Altos yesterday.  They came back with no QR Code. We are travelling from Alicante to Ireland tomorrow. How do we get a QR code.  The Clinic just told us to google it.

Will the certificate be accepted without a QR Code.

Thanks

We used Vitalicum last week and the certificate they gave to us was accepted at the airport, it was only looked at, from memory I do not think that it had a QR code on it, I can't check it now as I have thrown it.

Confirmed with my Mrs

No QR code, they don't scan it, only look at it.

We were asked for our QR code  at Alicante which we didn't know about. Had to fill forms in and stamped before they would let us in. We were in UK for 2 weeks, don't think they introduced it while we were away

I think that you are referring to the locator forms which do have a QR code, my replies here are about the antigen test taken in Spain which from memory do not.

Which way were you traveling and where are you resident ?

We live here in Spain. Passenger location forms were for UK

Ok got you but the earlier question was about a missing QR code on the antigen test cert.

It’s the QR code which is missing off the PCR test Certificate.
We are travelling from Alicante to Dublin tomorrow.  Unfortunately, Ireland will not take an antigen test.

Ok, I accept that Ireland will not accept an antigen test, so presumably, if you knew that you would have taken the PCR test, yes/no.

Nevertheless, although we took the antigen test our negative test result did not have a QR code on the certificate, in my opinion the airport will not try to scan the cert, as stated earlier in this thread they will just check it.

Just for clarity, I think that Coletea was mixing up the paperwork.

Hope that your journey goes well.

Ken.
