Hi guys I believe 15th August is a bank holiday. Can anyone tell me what goes on and where? I’ve heard there’s fireworks at la Zenia church?

Assumption Day is celebrated on August 15 . It is also called the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God , or the Feast of the Assumption. Many places starting around midnight will hear “jumping-jacks”, the (caretillas) fire-works lighted along many on the main street.
