"Do the Police evict if they are notified within 48 Hours ?"

Nobody can say. They may, they may not. There are many topics on this forum with horror stories about squatters and many articles online. YMMV. In some cases, the police took action. In others, they did not. In my opinion, it's definitely better if there is a screeching alarm going off when the police arrives. Never ever use the word squatter when talking to the police btw. They are burglars, not squatters.

I have Securitas Direct. They will perform a song and a dance ("I will message my manager to get you a discount") for you but ultimately, the standard offer is EUR 99 for installation (with independent GSM-blocking proof setup) and around EUR 50 per month (depending on how many detectors you are using). If you want to negotiate, try to get the installation for free or a 10% discount on the monthly. The prices I mentioned do not include CCTV setup.

Hi Lee,

Based on your high level requirements, I would not reccomend having a sim monitered alarm, more over a hard wired cctv and possibly wifi alarm, that you will be able to view remotely from any smartphone, and the best part about it would be you dont pay any monthly recurring fee.

Feel free to send me a private message and I would be happy to take a call with you to disucss further.

Regards

Dan

Ok Thanks Dan, I already have an alarm and I fit hard wired cctv myself so I think that's the route i'll be going down as the reviews from Verisure / Securitas are Dreadful - Cheers

Hi Dan, What would it cost with you for CCTV fitted including set up to view on our mobiles ?  1 x Analog DVR 1 TB, motion record 3 x Dome infra red Cameras simple installation, all fitted within about 10 feet of the DVR 2 on the external corner and 1 inside.

Thank You.

Hi Lee,

I will send you my number via private message, and we can have a catch up.

I would have to do a quick free survey to asses the work.
