A little bit more information might help, such as age and make/size of car, age of driver, type of cover, etc. Then someone might be able to help.

Its a righthand drive Vauxhall Astra, on Spanish plates, 6 years old, my age - old.

Instead of an Insurer contact a broker "corredor de seguros" who will give you varioous alternatives to choose from.
