Hi All,

I've been told that the palm tree in my garden has palm weevil, and the tree needs to be environmentally destroyed.

Has anyone gone through this process? Do I need to get permission from the council to cut the tree down? Are there registered people who I can contact for this?

Thanks in advance,

Rob.

Contact  your local  council/Town Hall  as Palm 🌴 Trees are protected  and  need permission  to cut down  or remove  them,   Council  have equipment  to pull tree out of  ground,  it  then needs to be destroyed  in a  environmental  friendly  manner,  so  who best  but  your local council  but their is a fee to pay

Thanks for this. I'll contact the town hall and go from there
