Hello all,

I am of the understanding that Aeromax is a good provider for the Internet in a rural area, I live in Relleu.  I have emailed and phoned them but with no answer as of yet.  Would anyone out there have any other idea as to how I can get hold of them please.  Many thanks.

The following number is listed on their website as ‘Custoemr Contact’:

96 619 8000

Also the following number is on my contract - am assuming its a contact number - I seem to remember ringing it a couple of years ago when there was a small problem - it’ll either work or it won’t!!!  800 007 654

Hope this helps. The alternative is to find a local satellite installer who uses Aeromax - there are several of them and in fact is how we sorted out our contract, as we had to buy a satellite dish anyway.

The service is very good, stable, rarely drops, and speeds vary in bands dependent upon what you think you need and what you’re willing to pay. The only caveat is that our supplier said not to elect the cheapest as we wouldn’t be happy with it, but to go for the next one up which we did; works fine.

Thank you so much for your information, they have replied this morning by email, just waiting for prices.  Will take on board what you have said regarding the cost.  Many thanks.  Jackie

I've lived here a long time and I know a lot of people who've used Aeromax and I'd say avoid them like the plague. Once Aeromax have signed you up, they couldn't give a monkey's about you. They're expensive, unreliable and you have to pay for the equipment, which you also have to return to them if you end the contract. The fact that you've had so much trouble getting hold of them in the first place should start ringing very loud bells.

If Cableworld are in your area, I would strongly recommend you go with them. I've been with them for about 4 years and they've been excellent. They are cheaper and when we had a problem they were out and fixed it within a few hours.

I’m interested to read your comments above, because so far we’ve had no problems whatsoever. Admittedly we are out in the campo, where we have no option for much else, no cable, no phone lines, no nothing!

However, the cost does not seem extortionate to me and the time we did have a problem - Shock! Horror! No wifi! No internet!!! - I rang them, got through at once to a multilingual person, complained bitterly. They did as they said and actually rang me back within the hour to tell me that Iberdrola had damaged something or other whilst doing maintenance works and that our service would be resuscitated shortly. It was restored by the time I’d put the phone down.

So that doesn’t seem too bad to me?
