Yippee! (put the other three letters in & you have a well known word or phrase)

Just for you. (or others?)

Is there a time limit? Are you going to 'Countdown'?

Try the app Duolingo, you'll be a champion in no time at communicating with the locals. They truly appreciate your efforts after all, especially if you are living in their country, it should be a priority. Voy a estudiar espanol todos los dias, es muy importante para todos extranjeros!            You'd be one of the smart ones if you choose to learn some Spanish, too many come here, live here for years and years and know hardly 3 words. Foreigners moving to the UK are expected to learn English to get by. It goes both ways right? Adios :)

Is there any free Spanish classes in the Torrevieja area.

You can pay 60 Euros for 6 months of Spanish at the Torrevieja Official Language School. Twice a week for 2 hours a day. Highly recommend it.

Hi All, I have owned a place in Costa Blanca for over 10 years and

travel every month until recently for a week or two from where we live in the UK and use our Spanish place as a wonderful retreat !! Due to our lockdown due to Covid-19 have decided to learn Spanish which has been going really well with my Spanish teacher here in the UK, my lessons are weekly and...

... most recently via video link.

It may have been tried on the forum before ? Is it possible to put a general phrase in “Spanish” and “ English” for us each forum addition with an input from the group to give us starters an encouraging onsite to every day conversations, just a thought !!

All please keep safe, loving the advice and banter, and well done Alex from taking the baton from your dear mum !!!

Would recommend duolingo, its great for learning Spanish and its free. You can download it to your phone, tablet or computer.

If you’re interested in using an app, Memrise is also very good. It was recommended to us by our Spanish teacher. You have to pay but can usually get it for less than £20 for the year.
