Hi there all,

We are about to complete on our new holiday home in quesada ,and everytime we come over it's about 150-190 for car hire then 150 for all inc insurance for 7-10 days.So I'm looking at buying a little run around to leave at the apartment maybe a scooter to get about on (any for sale please reply) But I'm wondering what is the cheapest way to get from the airport to quesada (train,bus,taxi,etc) or advice on possibly leaving the car at the airport again any advice is well received

Hi

First thing to be aware of is that used car prices are much higher in Spain than UK!

However if you buy one, then there are numerous car parks surrounding Alicante airport where you can leave your car all year for maybe €250, with free shuttle service to the airport itself.

Do your sums!

Speak to Frank at FWR euro cars located just by the airport , he may find what you are looking for, he is totally trustworthy https://www.fwreurocars.com/vehicles/details/ford_ka_3_door_03_silver/ford_ka_3_door_03_silver.html

The Ford Ka in the link is very low mileage for the year.

Frank recommended Heike at Sunstar parking, €250 per year, she leaves your car in the public parking area for you so no shuttle bus. https://sunstar-parking.jimdosite.com/

They work together very well so if there is a job to be done on the car it isn't a problem, they sort it between them.

Both are very responsive on WhatsApp or phone.
