Is the problem just accessing your Santander Spanish account or does the problem arise once you’re logged in.
The nearest thing a a Spanish bank would have to a standing order would be classed as a “regular payment”. You would normally get asked the question when you make a payment. You’ll get asked something along the lines of do you want to make this a regular payment and then given the option of how often it’s to be paid. If you’ve already paid this person previously can you not click on to their payment details to get the option of changing it to a regular payment? if you can’t, you may just have to wait until the next time you want to pay this person and put their payment details again, to get the reg payment option.
Obviously if you are setting up a direct debit it’s a totally different procedure.
Are you trying to do this through the app on just on online banking. Some banking apps don’t give you the options of a full online banking service.
