Hi can anyone help with some information on becoming a resident please.

We currently have a property in Quesada and are non residents at the moment. We would like to live in Spain permanently and eventually claim residency. I understand we need a certain amount of money in our spanish bank account to do this, does anyone know what that amount is ? Also I believe we need a certain amount being paid into the account every month. Does anyone know what that amount is ? I realise also we need health insurance which I have looked into and am currently receiving quotes for.

Thank you, any help is greatly appreciated

Great guide Jim. Thanks. Im also about to be in the same boat of "application"  I note from the guide it mentions documents can be "legalised" at the consulate in UK. What does that actually mean and what documents does it apply to? what should you have legalised?

TIA
