Hello

Can anyone give me some sort of update as to whether or not AGM's are allowed to go ahead in view of the ever changing restrictions.

Thanks in advance for any help.

All community AGM’s up to the end of the year have been cancelled.

There was a BOE announcing this, but I’ve no idea of the number

We had a community AGM on the 6th July.   It took place within the confines of our building.

Thanks for that info. Now this is where I am finding things confusing. This is detail of an AGM having taken place, another reply states there cannot be any  To say I am confused dot com is putting it mildly.

Hi,

you should contact your administrators and see what they say. If there is a ruling against AGM's they would know. Our community AGM went ahead last year ,in October, as normal except we were all socially distanced, masks on, etc.  I don't see why it would be different this year but I have not heard either way yet.

Aitch.

We had ours in March but it was online - as was the previous year.

We had a message from our Administrators on 4th June saying that there had been no new direction from the College of Administrators, so therefore no AGM’s would be allowed before 31/12/21. This is very convenient for administrators, and they are hoping to move to online AGM’s. I do not think this is a good idea, and, as president, have said that I would like one in March next year, which is our usual time. I can’t see any good reason not to get back to normal.
