Hello everybody, if anybody has had experience with Sihogar online seller and their delivery partners “ GOI superprimium” , please give us advice what to do next. We bought a washing machine from them and paid in full, and waited for delivery, which never came.! We tried to call the company several times, but after we asked for someone who speaks English nobody was available. Then we sent a few emails with a google translation, again without success – no response again. Today we finally asked them for a full refund. The feedback are full of peoples negative experience like ours. Is their any consumer organization or advice center, or ombudsman, anybody that can help us?

Do you know where their office is? You could go and see them. Hopefully you didn't loose too much money

They are in Barcelona - looking at the details on their website and a quick Google around the company, I'm less inclined to think it's a scam and more inclined to think it's just very bad service.

They have a physical presence as well as an online shop and you can collect orders from their warehouse (as opposed to delivery). Google maps street view (admittedly from 2022) allows you to see the physical property at the location they state on their website. Corporate information suggests reasonable turnover levels and confirms a number of permanent employees.

So I actually think it's more likely they're just rather inept (or overwhelmed) - and this seems to be confirmed with the reviews at Trustpilot etc. 

Clearly none of this is ideal from your perspective, but hopefully it can all be resolved by them pulling their finger out or you (if able) claiming money back via the bank.

I assume Spain does not have the same debit / credit card guarantees as the UK, ie can you claim back from the card you used to pay.

Thank you all for your help. I have received a message from the company that they were facing an incident and the will try to sort it asap and send my washing machine shortly. The Sihogar finally delivered the washing machine with free warranty for 10 years! Not only delivered but connected as well, so after all I am happy and will order  more from that company, the Sihogar is not scam as I thought. Thank you all for help.

Really pleased to read that you now have the washing machine you ordered and paid for.  In truth, if I needed to buy anything like a washing machine, I’d buy it locally , more for peace of mind and faster service. Did you save a lot of money on the transaction?  Now, in the cool light of day, was it worth all the worry, the delay, the trauma, the emails, the lot?
