Taking my 125 Vespa scooter to Spain

Hi I'm thinking of taking my 125cc scooter to Spain when we move permanently.
It's 4 years old has anyone done this and cost.

A friend of mine has just done the same thing. I think the cost was close to 800€, mainly because he doesn't speak Spanish so found it easier to pay someone to do everything.

maybe it's best to ride it with britisch plates so you don't need to take 'm to the shop for ITV....every year
