This is a heads up: I went to the first stall of the Christmas market going into Torrevieja. They sell sausages, chips spare ribs etc. I noticed people around me were questioning their bill then paying. I asked for my bill (sausage, chips, a pint and a glass of sangria): 50€ !! I asked for a brake down, chips 20€. I told the guy I’m not paying that and said I’d pay no more than 25€. Call the Policia I said. He went away, came back and accepted 25€. They are there to just rip people off. Tell your friends

Hello

Perhaps if you looked at, or asked for prices before you ordered, it would prevent having to be abusive to the vendor! There are more civilised ways of dealing with issues....

Again I would like to know where this Christmas Market is ( in October)

Cheers

2. Where is this Christmas market?

Cheers, J

Perhaps if you had perused my post maybe you would have had no need to reply as you did. When does a refusal to pay an amount of money you believe to be excessive become abusive? A price list was not on show, of course it was probably my fault not being able to speak Spanish but wishing to contribute to the local economy
