Yes, you can. Look up costaazul.net.
It's the autocares bus company and usually it's the bus from Alicante to Pilar de la Horadada. Ask driver to let you off in Playa Flamenca.
If you want to go shopping in la Zenia, it's only a short walk from there. Less than ten minutes.
The fare from Santa pola to Playa Flamenca cost €3.35 each way.
But look up their website for any changes on the day and buy your ticket at the bus station in santa pola , before getting on bus.

Yes it stops at torrevieja bus station and then continues on. Full list of all the places it stops online or you can ask the driver to let you off at a specific spot.
