Have been informed by our lawyer we need a cheque bancario ( bankers draft) how much is the charge for this? Also does the bank charge for money being transferred into the account? We have sold a property from the UK and looking to send those funds to the Caixa Bank to purchase this Spanish property is there paperwork or any charges for any of this?
If anyone could give me a breakdown of what is required would be much appreciated . Spanish is non existing on my part and I would like the information before going for an appointment.
Thanks
We use Currencies Direct to transfer our money from the UK to our Spanish bank account.
Very easy and quick to do. If you need help at anytime they all speak English. If you have a large sum of money to transfer over, give them a call as they can usually offer a better rate of exchange than doing it on on-line and can hold your money until it reaches the exchange rate you want and then send it.
