I will be renting long term in Santa Pola from September and would be really appreciate if someone could help with the following. As I won't be living full time in Santa Pola myself and my family will be flying in at different times throughout the year I am semi-retired mostly weekends and family during school holidays. I have tried to download the bus service timetable from the airport to the station but the one that I see is only valid until the 2nd September and I do not sign paper until the 10th. we are hoping to use bus if possible but if not is there anyone who you could recommend for a regular dependable taxi pick up from airport and return especially when late flight, taxi service that would be available. I would really appreciate this and look forward to spending time in Santa Pola

I found last years winter schedule for the bus timetable . The timings will probably be the same when the timetable changes on 3/9....

Airport to Santa Pola ... mon-fri 09.05, 14.30, 15.30, 19.25, 21.25

Sat.... 08.30 & 14.30

Sun .... none

Santa Pola to airport ... mon-fri 07.00, 08.00 & 14.00, 15.00

Sat...07.30 & 13.30

Sun... none

These timings could change this year . Allow 30 minutes travel time on bus

The taxi rank is easy to spot outside the airport .... approx €30 to Santa Pola

If the bus times don’t suit your flight schedule then the taxi rank in Santa Pola is quite near the bus station . Or you can phone and book ahead ... it’s good practice for your Spanish 😜 if you get a taxi driver you like, take his card and you can phone him direct to book .

The bus service from Santa Pola direct to the airport is very poor, and especially from mid September to mid June.

Best solution is to work a deal with one of the SP based taxis to take your people to the airport at whatever hour. Coming from the airport to SP you have no choice but to use the airport based taxis.

Approx cost one way is 22-25 euros . . .expensive for a solo traveller but ok if shared
