Hi, has anyone successfully registered their S1 certificate with the INSS in the Alicante area recently ? I’m really struggling to get an appointment and I’m not even sure what category of appointment I need ?? Any advice would be gratefully received. TIA

I've done it online through the Denia office. You need an electronic certificate on your computer and you'll need to scan documents to attach to your online application
If you want to PM me your email address, I can send you some guides explaining how to do it and how to get an electronic certificate.
EDIT: I should have added that the online process is a general one that applies to the whole Costa Blanca and maybe the whole of Spain as far as I know.

I uploaded all documents to the INSS website on their computer. Did not need Digital Certificate. Identity was done via submission of front and back of TIE card, then live photo. They recived the INSS letter back 2 hours later. Took that to medical centre in Catral who immediately issued their permanent SIP Card. Whole process was very easy and no appointments were needed.

Hi Douglas, I did ours online about 3weeks ago and they sent me an email to say that I had sent them the 1 side of my TIE twice ..doh and to resend, which I did but havent heard a dickie bird since.

oh also I had to upload the S1 forms and the proforma that I downloaded from their website
The uploaded documents included their s1 form, front and back of TIE card on seperate sheets, marriage certificate as proof of dependency, passport copy. Their system then took photo of face via computer, message came back to say ID confirmation successful.. then 2 hours later received email with letter attached to take to medical centre and get permanent SIP Card. Very easy.
