Planning the Uke is one of the most satisfying and easy instruments to play.  I've been playing one for years having first self-taught on guitar.

Easiest first option is go to YouTube.  There are ao many instructional videos, all free, and once you've learnt the basic G, C & D chords your pretty much good to go to play pretty much anything.

Have fun

Have a look at the ukulele site web Ukey Hokey, they do on line tutorials for beginners and also online one to one tutorials.
