Hi, I have a property in Sax but can’t get over at the moment. I need to make a Will and my question is - can I draw up a Will in England or would it have to be with a Spanish solicitor?

I look forward to your comments. Thank you. Tracey.

Check out "Jim's guide," here on the forum. It will need to be "notarised" which you should be able to find a notary in the UK. V

No, and forget the idea of using a solicitor.

A Spanish will has to be done in the presence of a notary, and he then registers it with the central registry in Madrid. That can't be done remotely.

Also bear in mind that you may need to amend your UK will.
