I'm a UK citizen, planning to buy a house (probably terraced)  in the Costa Blanca region, ideally on the coast from Santa Pola down to Torre de la Horadada. Would welcome any thoughts on good points / downsides of Torre de la H. Initially this will be a holiday home, and will probably be used about 8 weeks a year. Are there any areas to avoid?  Are there many UK people living there permanently? Any advice welcome. I have owned a property abroad in another country for eight years so understand that it can take time to get to know an area well.

We have been in Torre for 16 years and initially bought a property as a holiday home and as a rental. It has served us well for all these years and we are now in a position where we can spend even more time here. Torre has a very good council (Pilar) and things are done properly. Over the years the town has matured there is a good mix of nationalities but stays predominantly Spanish. Great beaches, decent restaurants and lots of facilities etc within walking or a short car ride. Bus service not so good but Torre benefitsfrom sitting on the border of 2 states. It’s a great place to live. If you need any further I formation just contact me.
