Thinking of buying in Torre de la Horadada

Most urbanisation are ghost towns in the winter and they seem to be building a lot there still .If you  want somewhere all year road have a look at guardamar still very Spanish but busy  very busy in summer when the Spanish arrived

Thanks for posting ,,, I suppose it’s all about compromise and balance We looked around Guardamar,  La Zenia, Punta Prima & Alcázares to name a few but we like the slower pace in Torre de la Horadada,,, just don’t want to be on our own in October ,,, for example,,

We have friends who have joined the Lo Monte club at the  hotel.They have various classes ,dancing; keep fit  have a look on their web site plus they have  a dance every month.At the caravan site Lo Monte there are many people who only come for the winter and seem to be enjoying socializing.We stayed there a couple of times and have made friends there.We are non resident but Im sure you will make friends as you go along I met two ladies on the bus the last time we were over and feel sure will see them again.It is a lovely area and it may be quieter in the winter but Im sure you will find activities to fill your days

I think you'll find that most of the people who buy in Torre de la Horadada do so because it is so very quiet in the winter months,  that's the way they like it. The beauty of the Southern Costs Blanca is that the areas are all so different, it's about finding the right one for you 😊

You are right of course ,,, there is something for everyone here

 We love the pace at Torre de la Horadada ,,, think we’ve found our location,,, just dotting  I’s and crossing t’s

Hi we bought our house in Torre 15 years ago lovely place to holiday and very safe beaches for our kids who love torre they now have there own kids and come back every year.

We have also just retired last September and now live in Torre for nine months of the year and its a great place to live we have loads of friends who cycle play walking footy along with many more activities.

It does not really matter where you live if you enjoy life you will meet people however Torre is a wonderful place to enjoy life yes its quite in winter months however lots of towns are within driving distance take the plunge and buy in Torre!!!
