Hi TP20,

I just heard on the UK forecast that the west of Scotland is going to achieve 21C tomorrow 🥵🤣

Kind regards,

Kim

We've just returned from 4 days in Glasgow and the weather was remarkably warm and sunny, nudging 20 on Saturday.  However, as we all know , that's just not the norm and everyone I spoke to complained about the constant grey, wetness for the previous 5 months.

I'm complaining about the cold and wetness here in Spain now I'm back forecast appears to be rain & more rain.

Suppose it's global warming, in the nearly 7 years we have been here the springs have been getting wetter and colder. Takes much longer to warm up now.

Hi. We are going to Torrevieja on Monday for eight days. Weather app showing loads of rain at present plus next week. Is it that bad presently plus forecast for next week correct? 🥲would love to know. Thanks.

Hi

We arrived here in the Playa Flamenca area 2 wks ago for a month stay. This is our first holiday in 2 years due to the pandemic. We have had nothing but storms and wet days since we have been here. I think this wk pretty much wet too. If we are lucky the forecast is showing a better wk to com next wk, fingers crossed for that.

I’m in the middle of having some much needed dental work while I’m here so I have to ride it out otherwise I would have cut my break short and headed back to the uk for better weather. I’m sure your time of arrival will make a better experience than ours as storm Celia has now passed.

Hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Jayne

Absolutely. It's down to climate change.

I was reading local weather meteorology pages and in think 3 out of the past 4 March's are amongst the wettest since records began.....This year taking the top spot...and we've a week to go. So we're about to smash all records.

The Spring and Autumnal rains are here to stay I'm afraid, as it looks like we won't meet climate change and environmental targets worldwide.

Nonetheless, sunnier days are all but guaranteed, but that will be little comfort for those out here for a few weeks break at moment.

Three weeks ago in the 20's wearing shorts & flip-flops & reading the newspapers showing photos of depleted reservoirs exposing old towns & everyone saying "we need some rain". Well, it's here. A bit of drizzle & it's " global-warming"😛. V

I know you're being sarcastic , but the two things are not mutually exclusive.

A warm dry winter is as much down to climate change as are longer wetter and cooler Springs. We just need to adjust accordingly and not deny things have and continue to change.

It's not just in Spain though, so I'm much happier to be here , regardless the weather as it's still ten times better than northern Europe.

I lived in the wettest part of this continent for 55 years and the current downpours are but a minor nuisance.

Wilbur & thank you, but you do not "know I am being sarcastic."

Our planet is estimated to be 4.54 billion years old, plus or minus about 50 million years.

(When Scientists mark the start of modern weather global record-keeping at about roughly 137 years ago) & I have lived here in Spain only 125 years less, I do not jump to global warming or climate change as a sarcastic or scientific immediate explanation. With respect.

Oh, so you're denying climate change and a warming planet?

Fair enough.
