My husband has a Sabadell banking app. He forgot the log in number and is now locked out of app. He went into the bank to try sorting it. They tried to sent SMS to his phone and failed twice. They now want income documents from us. We have never been asked for any before as we do not earn anything in Spain and we are Irish/EU citizens..
I’m baffled.
They just want proof of income. Try reading the following post.

Try ringing the helpline - I did this yesterday ( a Sunday!) as I usually only use the app and needed to access the online banking to upload a document for the AML compliance. The person on the phone helped me very quickly in perfect English
