Hi George, I will eventually live in Spain, so I would prefer a Spanish account, but  N26: might Indeed be an option as I already bank with them.

I've not asked them as I have a Spanish N26 account, but I suspect they would migrate your current N26 account (whereever it is based) to an ES IBAN at a point in time in the future should you ask them to.

The biggest "issue" with N26 from my perspective would be whether you are happy not having a branch network to fall back on.

Hi George, I actually did ask them. I have a German one with DE IBAN.  Whilst they said they would look at it in due course,  they don't permit a change to ES, not even for the paid version and I can't apparently have two n26 accounts.

Can you close Sabadell online or is it in branch.

No, apparently not, to close the account you need to call in Scott.

I left Sabadell three years ago. €25 to close my account, no problems at the counter, make sure your direct debits and standing orders are all moved before hand and your account is in the black. I moved all my D/D's etc back to my Irish bank and don't have any problems. Sabadell were to expensive.

Hi, I suppose I just might be able to do that. I was concerned about problems paying bills, community fees and taxes. But maybe that's not such a big issue.  I'll consider it.  I did sign up my DD for BB to N26 with no problem at all.

I have a Sabadell account that I want to close, because I have opened an N26 account. N26 works perfectly for me. Setting up DDs and paying one-off bills etc is easier for me, than it was with Sabadell. Like others have said - just use your N26 account.
