that is if you leave a "tip" on the table if you are satisfied with the service and food but every menu in Europe - at the bottom says something along the line of - gratuity is included in the price.

The question was what is the percentage of the gratuity that is included in the price shown.

As Martyn1986 other half seems to own a resto maybe he can advise...

I would think it is for gratuities received, possibly from a shared jar if your establishment uses this system of collecting tips.

Can’t see it being for tips solely generated by yourself though, unless your rude and aggressive nature displayed on here suddenly disappears when you step into the money making hospitality sector !!...

...

Thanks fjogr your in accurate reply and explain what exactly you though I had done ?  I asked a question just wanted an answer to a secific question not random comments

Your 2 rather direct, unfriendly and unappreciative responses of

I asked a question   do you have an answer ?

yes i get the translation   I work in a Bar

You won’t get many gratuities if that’s how you respond to people  trying to assist you !!

1)   so this reply    "Are you happy with your job and what you get out of it? Unemployent is high and wages are low. Others are waiting. Sad but true."

How was that anything to do with my question ?

2)   i have the payslip in spanish i translated it so i said  "yes i get the translation"

He asked what was the Job I replied   I work in a Bar

The poster may not be English, which I am guessing he isn't and is only writing how he would answer in his native language. British people don't like direct answers but its so far what I have found Europe to be, just direct and straight to the point. They aren't trying to be offensive or rude they just speak how they translate what they would say. He does also a  have a point about killjoys always helpful and positive comment, which had absolutely nothing to do with the question.

Let's try and keep things friendly and understanding. Recently people seem to be getting very nasty on here over basic differences of opinion and misunderstandings.

However I am very english  prefer short questions and answers cant stand the people who post random answers that dont contribute

anything to the post unlike yours  but at least my post has probably answered my question
