Well that was an entertaining read. it saved me the cost of a newspaper to pass the time sitting on the throne.
Good advice about the cost of a NEW tv, I wonder if your information to the poster is acted on, will he ask the shop owner for a discount to pay for his transport?
Watch this space. Poster, let us know if you managed to get a tv and, send a pic!
Tonge in cheek.

This morning, this person brought back the tv, wanting his money back. He said it wasn,'t a smart tv. I already explained in my several replies to him, it was never suggested it was. It is an expensive Polaroid flatscreen tv, less than 6 months use from new. It was offered with an Android box, a keyboard and wireless mouse, AND ONE YEAR SUBSCRIPTION TO FILMON TV, WORTH 12 X 14.95 EUROS.
He wahted me to deliver to his home, involving a 60 kilometre drive...and pay less than the price it was offered for. I said forget it, but he came back on the phone, saying he still wanted it, AND THE 32 INCH LG FLATSCREEN I OFFERED AS A BONUS. I said 'ok. Come here, I will demonstrate how the Android Box works, and the simple connections needed. He came, I started to explain how to set it up, and demonstrated it working. Accepted the offer, took both tv's etc., And paid cash.
2 days later, wanting his money back because it wasn't a Smart tv. FFS! Told him to bring everything back, and I would refund his money. Came back this morning, brought in one tv and the Android Box etc...but no second tv. I asked where it was, and he said he was keeping it as compensation for his travel expenses.
I told him 'everything, or nothing', whereupon his friend suddenly produced it from the car. I tested everything, all working as should, and I returned his money in full.
Why am I posting this??? Because I am honest as the day is long, and choose to defend my integrity.
Thank you for reading this far.
