Hi.

We're due to arrive in torrevieja (hopefully) on the 24th of July. So is there a curfew at the moment. Does this mean that you can't take a walk along the prom for instance after that time etc. Any new developments on restrictions?

Thanks

Tommy

Hello Tommy

Ive had a lovely stroll along the boardwalk in La Mata today & a beautiful few hrs on the beach.   Restrictions on the beach are in place- to comply with social distancing,  you can only sit in the roped off squares in most places- (or rent sunbeds) & today it got so busy people were queueing to get on the beach & had to wait until someone left to get a space.....Beach controllers are around to keep everything in order.

Lunch at a Chiringuito was lovely, masks required as you leave beach,  unless you can keep to the required social distance.  It works very well, it is necessary and everyone should feel safer for it.

You'll have a great time...

Cheers

Hi Tommy

This may or may not affect you... Bars have to stop serving at midnight, and empty by 00:30. I was out on Thursday night, and the bar I was in stopped serving at 11pm, I think they were being cautious but I don't know if any other bars are doing the same.

Also, you can't buy alcohol in shops after 8pm

Cheers

Steve

Hi Tommy, if you go online and search N332 it gives you up to date information written by voluntary Guarda Civil members.

Just to note that the current restrictions end on July 25, but the new regulations will probably be announced a few days earlier. The advice of looking on the N332 Facebook page is excellent or I’m sure someone will start a new thread with the new regs from that date.
