You’re not keeping up with the daily reports then. Snr Puiz is holding off for nowbut not promising we won’t go to full lock down soon in Valencia Region. We are already on border limits, curfews , reduced capacities, limited hours and numbers increasing at a rate of knots. Hospitals in some places at bursting point.
I don’t rule anything out.

In that case I would suggest you to keep up a little bit with the spanish and local news. The situation is really not good at the moment and not the best time to think about a vacation

No I’m sorry, there are plenty updates from tv, radio, official police Facebook pages all calling for people to stay home , abide the rules in place & advising how serious the situation is. I’ve just read yet another article re Alicante who have now opened a field hospital per say to deal with overflow.
Now is not the smartest time to take a vacay.

I have attached the link for Irish government website for travel to Spain.
Up until 24th jan you can travel but require a PCR test-it May change on 24th but unlikely due to Ireland’s infection rates. This information is based on your location being Republic of Ireland for the 14 days prior to travelling(if travelling from Northern Ireland further restrictions apply an...

Ps you must fly into Alicante airport as border restrictions apply to all other aurports
Deirdre
Hi, You can still land at an airport in one municipality and travel to another. It's one of the exceptions. I.e. landing at Corvera and travelling Torreviajia is allowed, subject to all other requirements.

Ireland is in Lockdown . It has the highest rate of infection in the world. I think you are not supposed to travel more than 5 k from home
Close, but no cigar. Blighty hanging on to that crown.

I'm not entirely sure of the relevance of your post to the questions posed.
Ireland is currently in "Tier 5" restrictions which are detailed here:
------
https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/2dc71-level-5/
At Level 5, the public health risk means that you will be asked to stay at home, except for travel for work, education or other essential purposes, or to take exercise within 5km of home. There will be no gatherings other than small numbers at funerals and weddings.
Travel restrictions
Domestic
People are required to stay at home except for travel for work, education or other essential purposes, and will be permitted to take exercise within 5km of home.
You can travel for the following reasons:
I can see no permissible reason for people to be travelling to holiday homes etc as that would presumably fall under non-essential travel. If people do so and are successful in such a trip, it does not obviate what the governmental guidance is.
