Ah, well that explains a lot about his attitude towards having to wear masks!! Its typical of many UK citizens to complain and refuse to abide by good advice about covid transmission. The UK is in dire straits with the covid infection rates especially with the Indian variant.

Dire straits, really. There certainly are cases of the Indian Variant in the north of England and some in an Asian community in London but we are definitely not in DIRE STRAITS thank goodness. Where did you get this information from?  The vast majority of adults have been vaccinated. My son is in his mid 30’s and he had his vaccination on Sunday morning in London. They are vaccinating even younger adults here in NI but life is beginning to revert to normality and we are certainly not in DIRE STRAITS with regards to covid 19.

Look at it this way. The province of Valencia has one of the lowest Covid-19  rates in Spain so maybe the law about wearing a mask is partially responsible.

How long do you think Lizy people should be made to wear face masks surely not until covid has gone away as it will be with us for a very long time perhaps evermore, about 3 weeks ago I heard a man from an organisation called Trailfinders saying that Spanish flue was still with us ,I thought that had gone years ago

You only need to listen to the daily news to know how the infection rates are climbing daily throughout the UK. Even Germany has stopped people entering from the UK.

Look at any outside broadcast from the news services and you will see around 70% of the public who wander past are not wearing a face mask!!

That's because in UK it's not mandatory for face masks to be worn ,in open spaces ,I think that's a good thing ,if people wish to wear masks all the time ,I say let them wear them, I only wear when compulsory

Exactly, we are not in “dire straits” at all.  This poster is obviously one of the Paranoid Android brigade and there are still many like him/her.  Too frightened to go anywhere or do anything for fear of catching something.  Anybody would think we had all slipped back to the Middle Ages and were dealing with the Black Death.

I’m getting on with my life.  Nothing wrong with that.

Here in Spain it is mandatory to wear face masks at all times except when eating and drinking. Paranoia.....no, just staying within the law.....

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

It's that sort of attitude against good medical advice that has put the UK in the state it's in now! High rates of transmission....etc

Stay in denial and stay away from Spain!!!

I agree that wearing a bit of flimsy cloth is not going to protect you.  However, maybe you’d like to read a little research into the wearing of masks, then you might realise that a correctly worn mask of the right standard is protective.  There are too many Covid deniers already pushing up the daisies, please don’t join them.

I shall certainly stay away from the likes of you, don’t worry.  I tend to move in normal circles.  You know, amongst normal people who don’t think the world is about to get them, at every turn.  You carry on with your brainwashing telly watching.  BBC is it?  Good people there.  Never tell lies.  You can  believe EVERYTHING they say.

I’ll go on listening to people that I know personally who live in the real world, especially those in the health and care industries, who know the TRUTH.  You know, the REAL truth as opposed to the manufactured/embellished variety that politicians come out with.  That kind that people like you hoover up without question.

PS.  It’s none of your business when or if I choose to visit my property in Spain.  I’ll go when it suits me, not you!
