Hi,

Now that is always an open question and you will get so many recommended areas that you will be even more unsure. 

You will get good advice about renting for the first year before buying to see if you like the chosen area, or not!

I suggest that you rent somewhere for at least a full year and that will give you the opportunity to see what it's like during the day and evening and to see if your new neighbours are ok, there's nothing worse than a barking dog being left every weekend!!

Don't forget that the summer months can get unbearable with the heat and winter is colder than is generally made out.

Pinar de campoverde is a nice area has shops/dr/bars/restaurants not to far from sea a good mix of English Spanish German Dutch

Just letting you know, it is a completely different procedure now to obtain residencia in Spain since 1/1/2021.  No one in Spain can assist you. You have to start your application at the Spanish Embassy in the the UK by applying for a visa (Non lucrative Visa) if you intend to live here & not work, but many other types you need to know about. The  financial cost has increased significantly since last year, now that the UK is a third nation country. You will also have to pay for your own healthcare/prescriptions etc, at least for one year as the SI form  from UK is no longer available.
