Hi I have two Aircon units that were fitted by a company no longer in business.
I would like them serviced and, if necessary, regassed and another unit fitted in the spare bedroom.
Recommendations please. Daya Vieja.

There's not much to service in them apart from to clean the filter which you can do yourself, if the unit is working then it does not need regassing.

A std service is a bit more than cleaning the filters as the radiator type fins behind the filters also need to be cleaned to get as much air flow as possible. Unlike cars, gas should never need topping up on a domestic unit.

Hello Mick, I was in a similar situation and found a great guy who I would highly recommend. I prefer to have professionals do servicing rather than messing around with things. Hope this helps;
